Herb Butter (rosemary, oregano etc)

This is a template recipe that you can choose herbs that suit you. I often use rosemary or oregano flowers

Ingredients
  

  • 100 g unsalted butter softened
  • 1 tbsp fresh herb finely chopped (or 1 tsp dried)
  • 1 tsp lemon juice optional, for brightness
  • ΒΌ tsp sea salt

Instructions
 

  • Let the butter soften at room temperature until easily mashable with a fork.
  • Mix in the herbs, lemon juice, and salt until well combined.
  • Spoon the mixture onto a piece of baking paper, form into a log, and twist the ends or if using soon, directly into a small ramekin.
  • Chill in the fridge until firm (about 1 hour).
