Mezze-style Starter

Grilled flatbreads or pita with

Marinated olives

  • with orange zest and herbs
  • or toss with lemon zest, chilli flakes, rosemary, and a bit of their own oil.

Cherry tomatoes on the vine, just blistered on the grill

Chickpea & Tahini Hummus

dress with olive oil, a sprinkle of smoked paprika or za’atar, and a few whole chickpeas on top

Sundried Tomato Tapenade or Pesto

Blend sun-dried tomatoes with a little olive oil, garlic, capers, and toasted almonds or walnuts — thick and punchy to spread on flatbreads.

Quick-pickled red onion or radish

Feta or labneh balls rolled in herbs or sumac

Main Barbecue Plate

  • Grilled Halloumi slices — brushed with lemon & oregano oil

  • Thick asparagus spears, charred until tender-crisp

  • Optional: a drizzle of balsamic glaze or a herby salsa verde

With:

  • Herbed couscous or bulgur salad
    (lemon zest, parsley, spring onion, olive oil)

  • Or barbecued potatoes with rosemary


Light Salad Side

  • Rocket with a honey-lemon dressing
