
Citrus Tuile
Ingredients
- 25 g unsalted butter, softened 2 tbsp
- 25 g icing sugar 2 tbsp
- 25 g plain flour 3 tbsp
- Zest of ½ orange or lemon
- 1 tbsp orange or lemon juice
Instructions
Make Batter
- Cream butter and sugar, then stir in flour, zest, and juice. Chill for 30 min.
Bake Tuiles
- Preheat oven to 160°C (320°F).
- Drop ½ tsp batter on a baking sheet lined with silicone or parchment. Spread very thinly into small discs (~6 cm).
- Bake for 6–8 minutes until golden on the edges.
Shape
- While warm, drape over a rolling pin or bottle to create a curl. Cool and store in an airtight container.
