Chinese style blackening seasoning
Ingredients
- 1 tbsp 5 spice powder
- 1 tbsp Sichuan peppercorns freshly ground
- 2 tsp sesame seeds white, black or mixed, ground
- 2 tsp fine sea salt
- ½ tsp white pepper
- ½ tsp garlic powder
- ½ tsp ground ginger
Instructions
- Grind the peppercorns and sesame seeds separately with a mortar and pestle; or for a smoother blended result, put all the ingredients into a spice grinder and grind well together.
